Annual report Green REV Institute 2025

The year 2025 marked a turning point for the Green REV Institute (REV): after years of consistent educational, mobilization, and advocacy efforts, systemic change began to take the form of institutional decisions, legal solutions, and public policies. REV operated simultaneously on several dimensions – building information resilience and civic competences, strengthening civil society, and intervening in legislative processes at the national and European levels. Its impact extended to schools, healthcare facilities, local governments, parliament, EU institutions, and international expert networks. 

In 2025, REV’s key programs – the Plant Based School (Roślinna Szkoła), the Safe Food Federation (Federacja Bezpieczna Żywność), the Film Program, the European Vegan Summit, and publishing programs – acted as accelerators of change: they provided data, organised stakeholders, translated knowledge into legislative proposals, and launched implementation mechanisms. The most tangible effect was a shift in public debate and practice toward recognizing the right to healthy, plant-based food and incorporating a vegan diet into nutritional standards in healthcare facilities, with the prospect of new regulations coming into force in 2026. 

This report is not a project catalog. It is a concise narrative of agency: how an organization based on data, coalitions, and consistent advocacy can translate social pressure and expertise into lasting institutional change.
